Medical cover is provided out of hours by the NHS England. If you need urgent medical assistance between 6.30pm and 8.00am Monday to Friday or at weekends and bank holidays, please telephone 111.  Calls to the NHS 111 service are free from both landlines and mobiles. 

Please note the conversation with the out of hour’s service may be recorded.

Between 8.00-8.30am and 6.00-6.30pm Monday to Friday, please telephone the surgery on 07891 789167. Your name and the name of the patient (if different) and telephone number will be taken and the duty doctor will call you back.

Yeovil Health Centre

In addition, the Yeovil Health Centre is open between 8.00am to 8.00pm every day including bank holidays.  Although patients from Wincanton cannot register there, if you need to see a GP when the Wincanton surgery is closed (but during the opening hours of the Yeovil Health Centre) you can attend without an appointment .  Unless you do not wish them to, they will send us information about the consultation for us to include in your medical records.
